Working Out in Gym

Fitness Centers

Your clients are working out, raising their heart rates, and getting in some good exercise time using your gym equipment. The last thing they want to think about as they workout is if the equipment they are using is germy and sweaty. When they come in for a workout, they expect to come into a well-kept, clean establishment. And that’s what you want to provide for your clientele! With that in mind, here’s how to clean your gym and fitness center.

How do I clean my gym daily?

  • Here are some tips for cleaning your gym on a daily basis:

  • Wipe down high-touch surfaces like cardio machines, free weights, and yoga mats after each use.

  • Disinfect frequently-used areas like restrooms and locker rooms.

  • Empty trash bins and replace liners as needed.

  • Sweep and mop floors to remove dirt and debris.

  • Wipe down countertops, mirrors, and doorknobs with a disinfectant cleaner.

  • Clean and refill hand sanitiser stations.

  • Check equipment for any visible dirt or debris and clean as needed.

  • Report any spills or messes to the staff so that they can be promptly cleaned up
